Gainesville, Florida is a small city (about 100,000 pop.) in northern Florida. To travel to Gainesville, it is possible to fly directly into the airport in Gainesville (GNV), usually by way of a stop at the Atlanta airport. Travelers can also fly into the Jacksonville airport (JAX) and drive 140 kilometers to Gainesville with a rental car, or travelers can fly into the airport in Orlando (MCO) and drive the 210 kilometers from there Gainesville.
The conference will be held on the University of Florida campus. The hotels listed are all near to the campus, but they are not considered to be in walking distance of the conference site. Travel will be provided from the hotels to the conference each morning and each evening. More information will be provided on these arrangements as the conference date nears.
